Fruit Tree

1 Blessed is the one

who does not walk in step with the wicked

or stand in the way that sinners take

or sit in the company of mockers,

2 but whose delight is in the law of the Lord,

and who meditates on his law day and night.

3 That person is like a tree planted by streams of water,

which yields its fruit in season

and whose leaf does not wither—

whatever they do prospers.

Psalm 1:1-3

As we begin the Fall season at Manotick Community Church, there is an expectation of fruitfulness and harvest. This is the season that we reap what we have been sowing in the previous years. There is work to be done to help bring in the harvest so that it will not spoil and we have enough seed to keep planting for the years ahead. Let us look to the Lord of the Harvest in fasting and prayer that we may have spiritual strength for the season ahead.

  1. Thank the Lord for His faithfulness in always working on our behalf even when we don't see immediate results. Mark 4:26-29.

  2. Ask the Lord to send labourers to help bring in the harvest. Matt. 9:37-38.

  3. Pray for the fruit of the Spirit to be growing in your life in increasing measure. Gal. 5:22-23.

  4. Pray and believe God's word for Garth's healing and for yours. Mark 11:24.
