When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.
- Mark 10:14
“It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men.” — Frederick Douglass, abolitionist and statesman
Reflect on this quote I realize how timeless this truth is. The enemy also knows how true it is and targets the young and vulnerable. As our society moves further from the truth of God's word and replaces Him with hollow humanistic philosophies, who is it that suffers the most? There is a war for the souls of our children and we must pray for our children and youth.
“If I could relive my life, I would devote my entire ministry to reaching children for God!” — Dwight L. Moody, evangelist
Spend some time thanking the Lord for the blessing of our children and grandchildren.
Pray the Lord cover them with the Blood of Jesus and surround them with His love. Pray blessing on them by name.
Pray for a children's ministry to start in our church. Ask the Lord to touch our hearts for children's ministry and see it from His eyes.
Pray for our youth and the youth of Manotick. Ask the Lord for a Youth Pastor to shepherd and guide these youth.
Ask the Lord for His material provision for these two vitally important ministries.
