Pray for Our First Nations People - PB #42

Updated: Sep 11

Lord, listen! Lord, forgive! Lord, hear and act! For your sake, my God, do not delay, because your city and your people bear your Name. Daniel 9:19

Daniel 9, is the chapter where Daniel discerns the times he is living in and realizes that God is going to restore Jerusalem. In response, he begins to intercede on behalf of the nation, asking forgiveness for their sins and pleading that God will fulfil His promise. The promise was ultimately answered in the person of Jesus Christ. God is still seeking those who will pray.

December 14th, we are inviting D- and R-, missionaries to Canada's First Nations, to teach us how to effectively intercede for our indigenous people groups, based on the Daniel 9 model. For more details check out their website: https://ruggedtree.org/prayer and keep an eye on our events page: https://www.churchinthetick.ca/community-events
