"Again, truly I say to you that if two of you agree on earth about any matter that they ask, it will be done for them from my Father who is in heaven. 20 For where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there in the midst of them.” Matthew 18:19-20 (LEB)
The word agreement carries the idea of two instruments that are playing in accord. When Jesus applied it to prayer, it means to be of one voice and one purpose. Now, add Jesus who promised to be there in the midst and you have a powerful prayer combination. If you have an important prayer need, find those that will take up your petition with one voice in Jesus' name.
Prayer Points for Manotick Community Church
We are launching our main discipleship initiative, Triads. Our goal is to have everyone in a discipleship Triad by September. Please pray that we catch the vision and commit to the daily devotion and the weekly meeting so we may mature as followers of Jesus and grow strong in the Word.
We are changing our rhythm for the summer. Weekly meetings are ending so we can have more intentional time to invite our unsaved neighbours for BBQs, build relationships and pray for opportunities to share the hope of Jesus with them.
We have decided to hand out free coffee to the commuters at the new Mahogany estate. This will let them know there is a community Chruch near them. Please pray for volunteers and the opportunity to share the love of Jesus.
Pray for families to start coming to MCC as a result.Pray for our Sunday service that the presence of Christ would be tangible, visitors sense His presence and miracles happen.
