Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, a virgin will be with child and bear a son, and she will call His name Immanuel. Isaiah 7:14.
In the first week of Advent, Christians traditionally celebrate the hope of the Messiah. As we remember the birth of Jesus being foretold on the Old Testament, hope and expectation rise. God is about to fulfil His promise of a saviour, Immanuel - God with us.
