Daniel had wisdom and prophetic insight into the heart of God. This was born from prayer. Three times a day he took time out to connect with God and pray for God's plans and purposes to become a reality on earth. Daniel prayed for Jerusalem on the basis of grace, God's character. We do the same when we pray in the name of Jesus. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ is the foundation of all our prayers.
