City on Our Knees - Tuesday 19th January 2021

In this National week of prayer, we are joining the Pray Ottawa, City on Our Knees prayer event. Every day this week we will focus our prayer on a different subject. Today, we are praying for Families

Together, we lift our voices to God for families.

Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony. – Colossians 3:14

Please pray:

  • That God will strengthen families and deepen bonds of love, especially in this stressful time.

  • For solace for worried and grieving families whose elderly loved-ones are dying alone in long-term care homes and hospitals during the pandemic lock-down.

  • For mental and emotional stability in households under the COVID-19 restrictions.

  • For strong marriages.

  • For the special needs of single parents and their children.

  • For children in foster care and their foster parents.

  • That churches and other groups will reach out to include and care for singles, widows and widowers, and the lonely.

And further, submit to one another out of reverence for Christ. – Ephesians 5:21
