City on Our Knees - Monday 18th January 2021

In this National week of prayer, we are joining the Pray Ottawa, City on Our Knees prayer event. Every day this week we will focus our prayer on a different subject.

Together, we lift our voices to God for our workplaces.

Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people. – Colossians 3:23

Please pray:

  • That believers will share the love of Christ in their workplaces in word and deed.

  • For protection against the spread of COVID-19 in the workplace.

  • For God to help employers and employees faced with possible shutdowns and job loss because of the COVID-19 virus.

  • That businesses will prosper in our city in the coming year.

  • For freedom to express our faith in federal government departments.

  • For a good working environment for managers and employees in federal, provincial and municipal departments.

  • That all employers will be fair and generous in their treatment of their employees, particularly those facing job uncertainty.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do and he will show you which path to take. – Proverbs 3:5-6.
