City on Our Knees - Friday 22nd January 2021
In this National week of prayer, we are joining the Pray Ottawa, City on Our Knees prayer event. Every day this week we will focus our prayer on a different subject. Today, we are praying for Our Schools
Together, we lift our voices to God for our schools.
“My child, listen to me and do as I say… I will teach you wisdom’s ways and lead you in straight paths. If you live a life guided by wisdom, you won’t limp or stumble as you run. Carry out my instructions; don’t forsake them. Guard them, for they will lead you to a fulfilled life.” – Proverbs 4:10-13
Please pray:
For wisdom and endurance for administrators and teachers, to provide the school year and grades that students need while accommodating Covid-19 requirements.
For proper funding for our schools, colleges and universities.
That every student’s needs in the education system will be met.
That teachers and professors will have stable employment and strong support.
That students will establish strong, godly and supportive relations with other students, protecting them from harm.
That campus ministries at Ottawa colleges and universities will have a growing impact for Christ on their campuses.
For adequate medical health services for students.
“God has given each of us the ability to do certain things well… If you are a teacher, do a good job of teaching.” Romans 12:6-7
Saturday Virtual Prayer Breakfast, 23rd January
with Knox Presbyterian Church
and Manotick Community Church
We will be finishing off the week with a joint prayer event on Zoom.
8am-9am, Grab your coffee and breakfast and join us as we pray for Manotick and Ottawa.
