City on Our Knees Prayer Points:

Positives in the court system: The rising backlog in Family, Criminal and Civil law cases, and the closure of courtrooms in 2020 due to Covid-19, forced Ontario to modernize court systems that had been unchanged for generations. And there is a recent commitment by Ontario for funds for new court staff.

  • Backlogged family, criminal and civil court cases to significantly catch up with demand

  • Children, the vulnerable, and all people in our city to receive justice and mercy, impartially rendered

  • People without internet or computer devices to have equal access to the changing new technologies related to legal procedures

  • Affordable legal representation for people in family, criminal and civil court cases

Other areas of justice:

  • That all people in our city – including the disadvantaged – are consulted and included in decisions affecting them.

  • That there are Christians in every sphere and community humbly seeking to “be the light” there

  • That we as a city would care for the vulnerable and seek God’s strength and provision for this

January 16th - January 22nd.

During our month of prayer and fasting we will be joining in with City on Our Knees, praying for\ God's will in Ottawa. https://cityonourknees.ca/
